If the live tooling spindle motor in the turret of your Mori Seiki NL or NT machine has failed due to contamination, we have the solution! Please contact us about remanufactured motors to manufactured specs.
After disassembly, each component of the spindle motor is carefully cleaned and inspected. The failed windings are removed with a mechanical stripping process that ensures no damage to the lamination stack, such as can occur when failed windings are "burned out". Adding Epox-E-Pak to the new spindle motor winding is the key to extending its working life. By molding the coils into epoxy, we prevent future contamination from damaging the spindle motor. After precision balancing and assembly with new bearings and O-rings, the entire assembly is pressure tested to ensure the integrity of the cooling jacket. The PLG is checked and adjusted, and the spindle motor is run-in to 10,000 rpm, closed loop with our Mitsubishi CNC and spindle controller. The spindle motor is run at full speed until bearing temperatures stabilize, and vibration spectrums are checked a final time.
No one can offer the same level of comprehensive service and product improvement to these powerful, permanent magnet spindle motors. Please contact us about remanufactured cnc spindle and servo motors to manufactured specs.
