Our capabilities and equipment

Precision rebuilding ensures long equipment life and reduced downtime.

Precision machining--maybe the most overlooked component of a quality rebuilding process.

We've set aside the traditional quick and easy approach of many repair shops to focus on truly re-manufacturing at an economical level. We've invested in the gaging and machine tools necessary to manufacture new parts, or refurbish worn components with no compromise compared to new. Please keep reading for more details.

Machining overview

Why accept less in your rebuilt motor than you demand from yourself?  You've invested in state-of-the-art machine tools and metrology to produce precision parts, why tolerate the poor machining practices so often used to "repair" sophisticated machine tool motors?  From simply sleeving and re-machining a worn bearing bore in an endbracket, to the complexity of replacing a hollow, precision ground shaft for a thru-coolant spindle motor, our skilled machinists produce the highest quality workmanship.

Precision machines require precision remanufacturing, let Endeavor remanufacture to factory specs not just provide a quick fixIt is easier to repair a worn shaft by metallizing and turning it, but that is no substitute for replacing it with a complete new precision ground part.  By carrying an extensive inventory of pre-machined shafts for Mitsubishi, Yaskawa, and Okuma spindle motors, and by completing the finish grinding in-house, we can quickly and cost effectively replace a worn shaft with a new part.  It is easier and cheaper to overlook a worn bearing housing, or to Permatex the bearing, than to correctly refurbish it with a steel sleeve.  With 3 engine lathes with up to 28" swing, and hundreds of steel sleeves in stock, we can sleeve and re-bore the bearing housing of even the largest spindle motors.  Our machining arsenal includes machines for turning, milling, precision surface grinding, cylindrical grinding, and drilling.

In the event a customer requires a special modification or highly engineered part beyond our capabilities, we have well established relationships with companies that specialize in metal fabrication to meet every need.
