Have you heard that Okuma servo motors can’t be repaired? Don’t believe it! Endeavor Technologies will rebuild your Okuma motor type BL-MC200E-20S to new condition regardless of the failure. Motor Ke (magnet strength), windings, and brakes will all be tested with a variety of diagnostic instruments. If your Okuma motor type BL-MC200E-20S is de-magnetized, we have the equipment to re-magnetize it. If the axis is slipping because the mechanical brake isn’t holding, Endeavor Technologies will completely re-manufacture it. If the winding has failed, our skilled winders will rewind it according to the original winding data. After assembly, dimensional tolerances will be verified to be within the factory specification. Finally the motor will be test run, checked for excessive noise or temperature, and vibration levels recorded.  All test data becomes part of our database, and a link to the final service report will be emailed to you upon request.  If you've had your Okuma motor type BL-MC200E-20S "repaired" and it still doesn't work, it's not too late--send it to Endeavor Technologies to be rebuilt to factory specifications today!

Back to Okuma listing...

The best in the industry.   Endeavor Technologies took advantage of a unique opportunity with Okuma America to establish the most comprehensive test protocols and specification database for Okuma motors outside of Japan.  Unlike your local "repair" shop, we have simulators allowing us to test run Okuma servomotors and spindle motors after rebuilding them.   We inventory  thousands of dollars of spare parts especially for Okuma including connectors, cooling fans, terminal boards, resolvers, and encoders, brake components, and more--even motor shafts.

Each spindle motor or axis motor is checked to ensure that it conforms to the factory assembly tolerances, not simply an industry standard more suited for general purpose motors. Vibration levels are verified at full speed during each test run to verify that it conforms to Okuma's specification, not a general standard acceptable for non-machine tool duty motors. Slippage is a common problem with brake motors. Every Okuma brake is torque tested after being rebuilt to hold more than the factory specified torque.

Magnetizing weak magnet rotors is a critical aspect of rebuilding many servomotors.  Endeavor Technologies invested in custom built magnetizing equipment for Okuma BL servomotors. Some of the BL magnet rotors develop problems that are very troublesome to diagnose. Our test protocol and specially developed rebuild technique ensure that we find and correct these faults.

Don't take a chance having your motor "repaired"!  Send it to Endeavor Technologies where it will be rebuilt to factory specifications, and fully tested.
