Each NUM BMH1152N1BA1L3V motor is carefully evaluated by experienced technicians to determine if it is faulty. After disassembly and cleaning, windings are checked with a digital surge tester, and all critical mechanical dimensions are measured with micrometers. All test results become part of the permanent record of the motor in our database.
If the motor winding has failed, it is replaced with a new assembly from the factory in Italy. If a replacement isn't readily available, a new winding utilizing class H magnet wire and all class H insulation is installed according to the factory winding data and drawings.
Worn mechanical components are replaced with new components or re-furbished by one of our expert machinists. Our machine shop is fully equipped with lathes, mills, and precision grinding equipment. Rotating components are precision balanced on one of our Schenck Trebel hard bearing balancing machines.
