Your Allen Bradley motor [type] will carefully evaluated by experienced technicians to determine if it is faulty.  Encoders or resolvers are tested with a variety of diagnostic instruments.  After disassembly and cleaning, windings are checked with a digital DC hi-pot and surge tester, and all critical mechanical dimensions are measured with micrometers.  All test results become part of the permanent record of the motor in our database.

If the motor winding has failed, the old winding is carefully reverse engineered before being stripped with a mechanical stripping method that prevents any damage to the insulated core. A new winding utilizing class H magnet wire and all class H insulation is installed.

Worn mechanical components are fabricated or re-furbished by one of our expert machinists.  Our machine shop is fully equipped with lathes, mills, and precision grinding equipment.  Rotating components are precision balanced on one of our Schenck Trebel hard bearing balancing machines.

During assembly, new bearings, seals, and any other required parts are installed, and the feedback device is aligned and tested.  Mechanical assembly tolerances such as shaft and flange runout are verified to be within factory tolerances.  Finally the motor is test run, checked for noise, and vibration levels are recorded.  All the test data becomes part of our database, and a link to the final service report will be emailed to you upon request.

Rebuilt to new spec, but without the OEM hassle. Endeavor Technologies completely rebuilds Allen Bradley spindle motors and servomotors. Failed windings, broken shafts, seized bearings, non-functioning brakes, and bad resolvers are no problem because of our extensive in-house capabilities and parts inventory. Please click here to Contact Us.

Unlike most "repair" shops, we incorporate actual Allen Bradley servo amplifiers into our test stands. There is no doubt that your motor has been fully tested, and meets Allen Bradley's specification for new. We inventory thousands of dollars in spare parts specific to Allen Bradley: encoders, resolvers, cooling fans, terminal blocks, connectors, and more.

Our test procedures are the best and most thorough in the industry. Many "repair" shops can't run servo motors at all, and can't run spindle motors at full speed. An Allen Bradley motor rebuilt by Endeavor Technologies has been test run, closed loop with the encoder or resolver, to full speed. Spindle motors are tested for extended periods of time, until bearing temperatures stabilize. Vibration levels are monitored and verified to be within Allen Bradley's specification, not just a general standard for the electric motor repair industry. Each rebuilt motor is checked to ensure that it conforms to the factory assembly tolerances, not just an industry norm for general purpose motors. Slippage is a common problem with brake motors. Every Allen Bradley brake motor is torque tested after being rebuilt to ensure it holds at least the factory specified torque.
